new version of Mod out in 2-4 weeks according to site - based on BFV engine.

if you didn't cop a look at this mod its well worth it - 200 meg download i know seems massive but is best mod I've played - blows Star Wars one to pieces

of the maps that come with the basic game take a look at Aurora Valley - loads of real cool cars and you get to fly cessnas (sp?) - includes a gun shop and a disco!

am i right in thinking that this mod is set in rural american areas? and it's got to be better than the star wars one, that one was complete crap.

yeah - sort of Dukes of Hazard surroundings I guess -i76 i still think of as one of the coolest games ever made.

Star Wars one was soooooooooo disappointing; felt like it had been made by Blue Peter out of a hanky box and egg cartons

Interstate Mod I actually prefer to actual game (I've not got BFV btw - dunno if they improved things or not)- don't seem to die as regularly and love the thing of driving ridiculously fast and blowing things up at the same time.

sounds like it kicks f*** think i'll get it, starwars mod was made by kiddies apparently. Didn't think anyone was playing the bf-1942 mods anymore, and u should get bfv it's pretty damn good imo.

interstate 1942 could be fun actually - would be driving about in cars like these though...
