started itunes today and all of my imported music is gone and all thats left is a few albums i purchased from itunes but in #cloud format not downloaded.

any ideas?

iv checked for virus etc

Are the files still physically on disk? If they are you probably just need to reimport, if they're not then use this to scan for them http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk

i have all the files still in music folder, just cant be arsed to re import them. wanted to know why it had happened.

Have decided on the back of this in june when i upgrade my Iphone it will be to a nokia windows phone and icrap can shove it

ok re imported all my music (they were still on my HD) been a few days and all gone again, just the stuff i purchased from itunes in cloud format!!!!

Did you remember to back it all up this time?

Other people have reported this problem but no solutions thus far, unless you've got an old Sony Vaio laptop or you're running AVG?
