but UO map doesn't seem to work now - its just showing me in the middle of the sea. Does anyone know if there's any known issues with Vista? (well ones that relate to UO map anyway :) )
Also - I don't really want to fork out for UO assist just yet and I remember there's a freebie one knocking around - anyone know where I can get it from?
I should be on properly tonight or tomorrow so if someone can guild me, that would be lovely :)
My icq is 54206677 btw
Thanks

Your opinion is worthless....
go look for Razor which is a free UOA not sure it's actually legal :p as for UOAM have you calibrated it?

Razor - thats the one - ta :)
And no I haven't calibrated it, at present I'm running around Haven trying to find a sextant to try that - but cos my map's not working I can't find the shops lol.
Will that sort it out?

I dont actually think u can use uo automap now unless u pay for it. Its run by someone called JC the Builder and i think u need to pay 5dollars a mnth or something like that now to get the full capabilities of it.

Having said that i may be wrong but from my playing with it - you can calibrate it to where you currently stand but it will no longer follow you around untill u line the guys pockets

you can and I do all the time ;-) just DL it and calibrate it simple, Europa it works fine and on SP I like to the guild server to use it and it's fine there also.

Thanks for all the help.
A gate sorted out uomap for me which was good cos Is'm the real girlie stereotype who gets lost all the time :)
I've also got razor now for macros.

It was great being back - I was pleased to see there's guild chat in game now, that makes things much easier.

What's the current general skill gain method? Do you still need to be running around? Is there a rate over time thingy in place?

Oh and most important of all - are there any other CUK girlies playing atm?

I think there are a couple of girlies, but don't quote me on that as for skill gain you have the GGS system which is guaranteed gain system, which means getting skills is easier than at any other time you or me ever played, I made a 6 x 120 gm mage in 3 months how mental is that :)

best thing to do is take all the relevant quests for your class if it's a mage or tank and finish them they are pretty good, as for gaining skill again if your a mage ask someone in guild if they have a 100% LRC suit and a -mage weapon and just macro away, grab UOA4ever for loop your macros if you are going to do it like that.

I tak ur cheerioZ
They removed the anti-macro code also along with 8x8, so you can just stand in one place or keep using a skill on one item to GM it now :)

Hi, and welcome back!

Btw, Im a CUK girlie :D, living up to most clichs. Yes, I like to grow plants and decorate stuff and ever so often get lost running around in Britannia - even after 3 yrs in-game.
