Jedi Outcast help needed.

I am stuck on Jedi Outcast already :(

I just managed to retrieve my lightsabre after completing all the trial but the last door wont open for me to leave.

Anyone done this able to help? I tried destroying all the rocks and the cage with no luck and even retraced my steps back as far as it would let me but that didnt work either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Would that be a warez copy? I hope not.

Throw yer lightsaber at the ropes holding the hanging rocks. it takes a few hits but they will drop, when you got em all the door opens.

Next bit you have to fight with yer saber, more hassel than its worth if ya ask me, ya might aswell be waving a big trout around.

The game was released today Cerby, and knowing Cathral I would say no it's not a warez copy that you more than likley have.

Bah!!! :p

I used the lightsabre again (tried that 1st time) and eventually got it to work. When it showed the number of throws etc on the following screen it took 47 to cut the ropes. I am sure that cant be right.

I bought the copy in game yesterday Cerby :p Got Battle for Naboo free (doubt I will even bother installing it) and a 10% discount as I knew the guy working there :)

There are a lot of annoying bits in the game where you havent a clue what the hell your supposed to do to open a door but overall I like it. I dont like the image chosen for Kyle (resembles an old friend of mine which is disturbing). I have the Disruptor rifle and I can guarantee in multiplayer snipers are going to be everywhere with this weapon as the scope is awesome on it.

If anyone else gets it post on the boards so we can try the multiplayer feature.

im stuck on the bit were you have to free the prisonners in the mine, what ever i do too many die, i even got in that defense gun and started shooting all the stormtroopers i saw, for some reason if i destroy the AT-ST it says too many prisoners died again.

What am i doing wrong

use the defense gun to kill the walker that comes out of the big doors one you got that walker the stormtroopers magically die.

Aye Cath I know what ya mean bout niggly bits I was stuck for ages on part, couldn't go anywhere but had to destroy a crate which shorted out a door or somet, was a atad poo.

Nah MP is full of lightsabre and force fights hardly any guns

Dart if you run to the gun emplacement up top straight away you have time to shoot the lower AT-ST turn the gun around shoot all the stormtroopers up top and then the second AT-ST. After that the hardest part is getting the second one at the bottom that appears as you try to diable the Ion Cannons. I managed but was very close to death after it.

I only had enough ammo for the walker that came out of the big doors up top. twas on hard diff tho, dunno if that makes a difference.

Once I killed the top walker, all the stormtroopers dissapeared in the flash of the explotion. The run from there to the other base was a night mare, avoiding 2 walkers and about 20 stormtroopers with 30 health is not easy, managed it in the end.

I left the walkers till last tho. I destroyed the ion cannons, then picked off the troopers and then took out the walkers, used the guns quickly to aim and then run away as they bombarded me with rockets and other nastiness, then used em again to shoot as mush as I could (hopefully killing them in the first attempt), rinse wash. Took me a while to get to the ship tho I spent ages, bout 30 mins trying to jump up the that ledge FFS. Actually jumped up twice (some bug) but 'lagged' back down.

ok i found him, thats most anoying it was only that i realised that you could destroy that crate down the bottom, while stuck behind the rails. Hows anyone ment to know it blows up and makes a hole in the wall. its silly!

i dont like the game to be honest....


....i've played alot of FPS' and to be honest, its nothing new... i've sold it to a friend already :) though i did play it for 48 hours straight ^_^ got way too samy for me, and the lightsabre combat is just stupid... if its a "first person shooter".. why does it go into "third-person" view..... kinda defies the game type... average FPS if you ask me.. then again i'm playing max payne again.. now thats a good game ;)

I'm stuck with getting my force powers ... the 3rd one speed.

Well, I can 'get it' but then I run down that corridor towards that column that you can see at the end, but it always rises up before I get there :(

You can carry on a little from here, but then you seem to get stuck and that darn column stays up and I can't get it to come down again.

Do I need to get on it?

Or how else can I proceed? Thanks

I think there's a wall around somewhere with cracks in you should be knocking down ith one of your other force powers at that point m8.

I kinda like the game. Palying through single player gives a really great feel once you become a jedi. Force jumping over a group of stormtroopers and pulling them into the air to land in dead heaps never gets old :D

Multiplayer is an absolute blast too. I think the 3rd person thing is great. Everything looks so much better in it. flips, jumping, running up walls, it all looks rubbish in 1st person. Once I got my lightsabre I barely used normal weapons at all.

I finished it last week, damn good and you get to driver a AT-ST too!

Artanix how can you say you dont like it? its the best Dark forces game to date, with better lightsabres!!!

I found that crate you have to blow up that destroys the wall by accident after lobbing a grenade through to kill the bloke through that slit!

Found lando ... but no have no idea where to go next? Where do I need the 'password' ?
I can't get out of that big room with the giant mashing machines, there is a higher lv platform that runs all over the top of this area, but I can't see how to get up there ... one of the 'rolling crates' can be moved by using the force, but it only moves once, then it can't seem to get past a 'crossroad' in the track.

Any suggestions please?
