seriously though, i've been paying attention to this for a while, and just dont really have much interest in it. i'd imagine its nice for people that like stuff like total war for its historical accuracyish, but want an rpg. i'd still much rather they made it a normal fantasy rpg with the same sort of attention to detail and stuff they're talking about.
that said, i also take issue with their map size - its 3.5sq miles, about 9sq km. so we're talking a square just under 2 miles by 2 miles. and yet this is apparently 'huge' and 'contains a major city and dozens of hamlets and villages'. so i guess that even with everything else, they havnt managed realistic maps still...
