Heya, need a really quick response on this, so thought I'd spam general chat Was wondering if anyone knew of a company where I could buy a laptop, and get it couriered by Friday. I know I could take a gamble and go with someone like dabs on their next day delivery, but it's for a conference, and it's absolutely crucial that I get it by Friday, so didn't really want to take any chances. I thought perhaps a smaller store that could just send it via a courier...someone that I could talk to, rather than a big organisation that would have to follow their own procedure. When i wanted one the same day a few weeks ago i just walked into currys and said " i want one like that " and walked out with it 10 mins later

well wanted to get a fairly specific spec (and would be nice not to pay too much - around 800 quid)...more importantly though I don't think we're going to get an opportunity to go a big store like that. Really after something with bluetooth, a reasonable proc, half a gig, to a gig of ram, dvd rewriter, and standard LCD aspect ratio screen. Graphics don't matter, and we don't want additional packages other than Win XP Pro, but I guess it would be handy if the laptop was reasonably light too. Going to carry on looking tonight, but got to get up early as have an early start. If anyone could suggest anywhere, would be very grateful.
