The skinny is you play as one of 4 survivors or as a zombie, survivors have to survive (dur), zombies have to eat brains

Excellent. I downloaded the Zombie Master mod for HL/HL2, and while it was a great concept, it was let down by poor production, and lack of player base.

This looks much more polished. I hope they got the mod creators onboard with this, or at least refer to them.

LFD doesn't seem to have the barricade building, which was interesting, and the lack of zombie master is a shame (one guy controlling zombie spawns and behaviour), but we'll see how it works.
