May The Least Bad Team Not Lose

Just popped by to wish Janie and Leicester luck.

Five years ago Southampton were a premiership team, and Swansea were fighting for League survival (old div 4). I never thought I'd get to see a Southampton v Swanasea league fixture. I still may not as they pass each-other on the Championship/league 1 stairway.

I shall be at St Mary's today cheering my 2nd team on, but I'm not hopefull.
What an awful, awful football side SOuthampton are nowadays.

At least there's the FA Cup to look forward to.

I am Pompey 'til July, I am Pompey 'til July. I know I. I'm sure I am. I'm Pompey 'til July.

Dont think shes been seen around these parts for quite some time.

Ah shame. But then if you ever looked at my login stats you'd think I was absent also. I look in weekly or more even if I don't log in. Just waiting to get the muse back. A visit to some sort of gaming convention would probably set me off again.

Anyway I just wanted to offer some moral support to somebody else who supports and suffers with their local/home team.

I've just sat through the most incredible game of football this afternoon.
We were relegated most of it, but finally at 3-2 survived.

Leicester are relegated.

Commiserations Janie if you are reading.

Leicester relegated, England not in Euro 08 and Chelsea winning the Europeon cup.

One away from a hatetrick.

That statue is hilarious, the funniest thing being they shelled out money for the bloody thing. His arms are the full length of his body and his head looks more out of proportion than the new face for the Halifax adverts, who must need a neck brace to keep that melon upright :D
