MW2 - fav gun?

Well still low level (16) but really doing well with the SCAR-H.

Read alot about the M4A1, but although it has a better fire rate and better close combat spray, the SCAR for me makes up for my moments of panic and is more accurate and packs a better punch.

I gather that the ACS seems flava of the month at higher unlocks, but I'm curious at what other peeps prefer so far.

M4A1 as i have used it from lvl 1-26 and got lots of the jobs done and it's nice

I've been using the scar and wa2000, finished all unlocks for those also use the usp with tactical knife.

currently messing around with the P90 which is the gun i used alot in MW1, good fun I have akimbo now and run around using two lol, but there fucking shite for accuracy you need to be on top of someone to kill em lol.

does anyone know what people use to get up real close? I have had a few incidents of being knifed hehe.

I use marathon and ninja pro for my knife guy, or change ninja pro for comando if you need the extra range

Marathon and Lightweight and just run around knifing people is a blast. You run faster with a hand gun equipped; plus the extra melee perk, but its a pain in the ass getting it.

Also there's a bug atm so if you hold a care package grenade (ie press 4 to summon the care package but don't throw the grenade flare that summons it, just keep hold of it) you run around at loopy speed.


You should try Riot Shield and Throwing Knife too Git.




This is the first FPS I've played for more than half an hour. For other newbs I'd offer one piece of advice - Tactical Insert >>>> all. And play Domination - it doesn't natter how much you die. Find a hidden corner near one of the objectives, plant TI, plant it same spot every time you die and attack/defend that spot.

And I couldn't live without One Man Army - instant full ammo regen, as many grenades, claymores and tactical inserts as you want without dieing (max claymores you can place is 2, if you try to place a third the first explodes etc), plus switch between sniper, LMG, SMG, AR whenever you want.

Heard people say the ACR rocked, but the first 60 levels I didn't like any of the Assault Rifles and stuck to SMGs close quarters and LMG outside. That all changed at 60, the F2000 is lubbly. And then I got to 70 and the AK47, which is a beast of a weapon. read on forums the early weapons are better than the end game stuff but thats absolute bollocks.

bit too effective to be honest, especially with the shield honestly you can do all sorts with that and not die lol
