I would say American Gods out of that lot. Its very good.

Yeah, I voted for American Gods, as I've only read Neverwhere. Which is good, but like I said, I've already read it.

Only read American Gods and Neverwhere, but for a first book I'd vote Neverwhere.

definitely Neverwhere, American Gods is quality, but Neverwhere is a cracking book, need to get my copy back so i can read it again.

I'd say Smoke and Mirrors. The stories are bite sized and show a wide range of different styles and facets.

Just finished The Graveyard Book and it was great, one of his best.

Highly recommended.
