*Ammo has been removed from the game.
Soul Shards have been removed from the game as items. Instead, they now exist as a resource system necessary for using, or altering the mechanics of certain spells.
Are those right ? seems to be a pretty huge patch/change. There are loads more, but those two stood out

Sorted. I cant install WoW on my main pc but I can on the laptop. Same for patching, have to patch it up on the lappy then copy it to the main pc. The above problem seems to have been caused by me just copying the new build over the old one. Any superfluous files in the old folder stay there as copying only replaces the files present in the new folder, leaving any old ones intact. Deleted the whole file on the old pc and copied the working one again and hey presto - works.
Now I just have to un-rageunsibscribe :blush:

Its taken me 2 days to wrap my head around my hunter.
Ammo going for one is a change but by no means a large one Gottaa, its like ive gone back 6 years.
Hunters use focus like rogues rather than mana.
We have lost about 1/3 of our abilities - not actually a bad thing.
All the other abilities have fundamentally changed to reflect focus rather than mana.
Stats have been revamped, old quite critical ones have been removed, new ones added and importance of stats shifted.
I can now carry about 4 pets - increasing to 5 at level 85 and have a stable of 20 - and yet i still need more stable slots....
Its great but a little bit scarey, im a noobie all over again. 6 years of knowledge playing a character effectively out the window.

i'm on emerald dream still.
not sure what to make of my warrior having tanked icc25.
reforging to mastery seems a bit of a lost cause, since i cant get enough of it to be worthwhile, and every point i convert from dodge or parry drops my overall damage avoidance.
my armour is about 6k lower than it was before the patch, so i'm taking 20% more damage on every hit.
my threat seems 'fine' against dps (single target, at least) but terrible compard to the undergeared, and unpracticed, bear-druid i was tanking alongside.
and fury+arms are supposedly terrible at the moment, though i havnt tried them yet as i've not had time.
so not sure what i'm going to do really. i think i'll carry on for now, not like it really matters if another tank is a bit better than me in icc. and for levelling from 81-85, its unlikely there'll be another tank in the dungeons. and at 85 hopefully things are balanced again.
