looks great, i may persuade me to give DDO another run, it was fun playing it at the time, just ran out of things to do. But with the numerous additions since i last played it would be interesting giving it another try.

Have to say I am enjoying it again and I haven't touched any new content yet as I have just started a group of 5 new characters off on Keeper and am working on getting them all to the marketplace.

The event they just had for the 2 year anniversary was pretty damn amazing which ended with the tent in the marketplace being destroyed by invading devils leaving just a crater.

The visuals they ran for the gradual darkening of the skies leading to the vortex forming over the tent were excellent.

Currently Aaelon, Zed and I are teaming when we can for the harder stuff.

Zed and I decimated the Waterworks with 2 light repeater crossbow halflings, I bet we went through 2500 bolts

Indeed. Its been great fun revisiting old content (read: Beginning stuff) with loads of new stuff untouched. We popped into a lvl 4 quest (me and Soron) - normally with a lvl 3 and 4 you would clear the quest in no time. We made it about 20ft into the dungeon before I died and Soron recalled.

the first time i ran that quest through was with a lvl 14 fighter. on Normal (its a 4th level quest) and I wiped twice. (admittedly third time i knew what i was doing wrong and totally cained the place)

New areas like the Cerculean hills allow you to gain a bit of exp (i reckon about 5K all told) at your own pace just running around exploring, killing monsters and hunting rare spawns. These are repeated through the levels.

Crafting for hte masses arrives in Mod 7 as do Monks. So its worth tinkering about. plus the new subscription for 6 months means your paying something like �4.99 a month so even if you sub for 6 months your not loosing a huge amount compared to say a WoW or PoTBS sub.

And yes. Probably 2500 bolts between the two of us. Heavy repeater builds are just plain munchkin.

When is the the new content + Monks due to hit? I'm getting a new system hopefully early May and am tempted to give this another run? another question, did the ClanUK guild survive or is it long gone?

Were playing on Keeper iunder the guise of the Black Drake. Everyone in it is CUK or close enough to not really matter ;-)

Mod 7 is probably summer.

i'm reinstalling now, any idea if i need to get every patch again or just the most recent, the patcher doesnt seem to do this automatically

Downloaded module 6 but the patcher wont go past update programs, just sits there on 0%. Any ideas?

There have been some issues with people trying to install from the original disc because of the 2 years of changes.

I think the advice is to d/l the trial installation and patch from there.

Let me check for you.

I think you should be able to patch from that easier, well I know I did.

Yup that's all I did, if you are looking for the cheap 6 month rate I think it has a numerical code of some kind like Plan51 or some such bollox.

I'm on most nights atm as I have no life with the whole no walking thing coz of my back (my excuse and I'm sticking to it) We're on Keeper, not sure about character transfers tbh.

well i'll be on most of the night (friday) from 7 onwards. I would like to have a go at the waterworks if anyone is up for that. From what i've read you can't transfer characters yet.
