OOC - For those new peeps interested

Okay This is typically for Merly (whos character im working) - Potnoodle and Emmon

The rules im using are 3rd edition DND rules. AKA D20 system.

Races:

Folowing races are acceptable for a character:
Human, Elf, Half Elf, Half Orc, Dwarf, Halfling, Gnome

Classes
Fighter, Barbarian, Bard, Ranger, Druid, Cleric, Rogue, Wizard, Sorceror, Paladin, Monk [Sont think ive missed anything]

Character level is 4th.

Item value is approx 9K if i remember rightly.

So for those who are interested please send / respond with the following:

Player name
Character Name
Race
Class

And a bit of character flavour - ie looks, wears etc. If you can do the character sheet then great - otherwise i can do it for you based on what you post here.

BTW thsi will give us 8!! characters playing which is posibly too much. However we can have a look and see whats what. The other option is to stick a second group elsewhere in the dungeon and get them to try to leave (Could be interesting hehe)

Found a load of online character sheets etc ( can post links if anyone wants ) but they're in Excel format and I havent actually got office Can get it on Tuesday though.

Oh ive found some PDF character sheets that are easy to fill in with pull down menus etc... slight problem though I dont know how to fill it in.

Does anyone know a link for the rules? Or would anyone like to give me the basics upon what values to start from and what dice rolls to make etc?

Right i'll put my bloke here but i dont know how to fill most of it in so i've left blank... i do believe they are just calculations needed from the input already there though.

ill run it through PCGEN and get a feel for how it works out.

One thing to note: As a monk if you dual class you cannot go back to a monk. So in thiscase you will be stuck at Druid 2 and monk will have to increase otherwise you stick at monk 2

Did that make sense? hehe

Sorry Zed but he's different to what i wanted him to be... didnt really want him to be a master of any combats really... And now he's a druid afraid of insects too

I'm in town tommorrow till about 2pm but when i get back I'll stay on battlenet under the account *Emmon and if possible we'll have a chat... Think i need to change my class. My fault sorry, i've been reading up on the rules though. I'll put some carfeul thought into what I would like and how it compares to DnD rules

Right sorry i pulled me finger out and got to know how to use that PCGen... done the character but cant get it to transfer into a txt file so i'll post it up here renamed to .txt and if possible you could download it... rename it to .pcg format (PCGEN file) so you can view it

Problem you have with DND 3rd is the fact that it is built into the classes there abilities in combat.

Ill take a look tonight (might be somewhat drunk tho)

For Noodle, Emmon and Merly - Ill work you into the plot shortly.
no maps exist but im going to set out some background stuff for you soonish and see what you think
