Good call, be interesting if we see a somewhat darker doctor given he's heading towards the end of his regenerations although I'm sure there's a way around it planned.

Love to see the doctor saying "oh do **** off" to a dalek

I love The Thick of It and Malcolm Tucker is without doubt one of the great British comedy characters ever. When I heard Peter was favourite for the role of the next Doctor a couple of days ago, I didn't actually believe it (The bookies are never right in these situations). So when he actually stepped out as the next doctor I actually did a little yelp of joy!! I personally think he's going to be great - I loved Matt he'll be missed, but I'm glad they've picked a completely different type of actor for the role - another young actor doing the 'busy' routine would just feel like more of the same (and Matt pretty much did this perfectly and David to a lesser extent) Peter is going to be something completely different - cant wait to see where they go with this. It's a brave decision though a lot of the young fangirls want be happy with a olderDoctor!!
