Pre Game play :)

Okay I see several of you have been having a fiddle, and connecting to Aciid's client.

I'll bring the client up for an hour or two tomorrow evening probably from around 7:00 (i might be AFK). This will allow you to load up your character sheet and me to look it over make sure its set up easily etc.

A few things you can do:

1. Once you have the dice sorted for the weapon, drag the roll to the hot bar - 1 click and you roll your attack.

do the same for damage.

Drag initiative to hotbar and you can click that then roll aD20 and your initiative is calculated.

Can do that for any of your major skills as well. Its a great little client but takes a while to get used to.

Yeah thanks for the info Zed, was good to see you. it's sitll a bit new so I figure I can try and get used to the client before the game as it'll be pandemonium with everyone rolling dice, drawing on the map and causing general mayhem..... I can see a lot of restraint is going to be required.

Are we going to jump on one of the clans ventrilo/teamspeak servers too?

Dart, it's for a DnD game using Fantasy Grounds 2 interface.

Aelon you don't need an ip, just type in 'cold dice firm monk' in the address bit.

Ps. finished 3 of the encounter images I was working on, map still needs some work (think I'm gonna give up as I really can't draw).

I pull a lot of my stuff from mapshare and mess in GIMP to customise them, recently bought Campaign Cartographer 3 with City Designer and Dungeon Designer.

Finding my way around those at the moment.

Dundjinni was nice a quick from what I recall.

whats a good map scale for the battles? i want to make some tokens but i dont have an idea on what scale to make em for the map.i know i can scale them in the combat roller btw.oh by the way does anyone have a tool that i can cut out circles with?i cant be arsed doing about 100 tokens free hand

I use this

and normally work at 50x50 or a little under.
