Rented prototype (Xbox) and been having a laugh.

It is like a more vicous crackdown, you are fekking awesome from the start, even with few powers, gore everywhere, some cracking gliding, parquor (sp?), chucking cars at helicopters, killing hundreds by running through packed streets with ur shield out :D
The bad points are the numerous cut scenes......too frequent, char models look a bit ropey at times, repetative stuff.

Good fun though in short busts and I think there is a free roaming option, but when I tried it I still ended up with my missions anyway.

Anyone else tried it out yet?

How are you getting on with this mate?

I've been wanting to finish InFamous before I start this and that should be wrapped up this week.

It seems to be very similar to Radicals older Hulk:UD.

Still liking it.

At first I thought it was going to be easy, but it gets challenging at times with some missions. You have to try different approaches for some missions. Infected water towers anyone?

It is a great game for a blast about, like Crackdown, I'm not sure on the longevity though, so I'd try before u buy tbh. Apparently Infamous is more polished from what I've read, but the fact that you can run up buildings, jump onto helicopters and rip them apart has a certain appeal :D

Will see what I think after a weeks play off and on and let u know, need to return it Friday :)

ooops I was going to comment about this and forgot.

Not on my top wish list, good for a blast about but it does get repetative.
The controls for movement etc are very fluid, tons better than assassins creed for example.
I love crackdown and this is like a X rated version in parts.

Will buy it once it becomes much cheaper....bought fallout 3 DL content instead :D

I quite liked this although as others have said the novelty does start to wear thin after a while and it did become abit of a grind towards the end. The Ghostbusters game is quite alot of fun as well.
