Just set it up with WPA-PSK and it works fine, key exchange, IP, DNS, everything.

Just posting 'cos I'm amazed it did anything at all, hehe.

To get Chris's PSP to link up we had to turn the security off on the Netgear, then it saw it and we re applied all the security and a reboot of the router. Wouldnt even acnowledge its existence otherwise. Now I have to get his XBOX 360 and the Bairns DS Lite hooked on.

If you use mac filtering, all you should need to do before anything else is type the mac address of the bit of kit into the allowed list. Though having just plugged in the BTHomeHub wireless jobby we got from BT free, with a faster connection for 2 quid less a month it was a total breeze getting the Wii, DS, Mac and PC onto the wireless connection, slighly concerning that the SSID is broadcast, there is no mac filtering and the WEP key can't be changed, but bloody hell it was easy :)

And the boss is buying our old wireless router off us as a backup for work :D

Oh and the BTHomeHub looks rather funky, now to go get the phone bit setup !

the SSID broadcast is disabled on the Netgear and i'm using WPA-PSK. i never enabled it, just put the key in and when it tried to connect, stuck the mac address in the allowed list.

can't fault it really. can browse the web, download demos, reflash it, everything. got an 8 meg demo of some gp motorbike game saved on the stick in about 5 minutes so it's not struggling at all. you just reboot and browse the stick to run it :)

am still waiting for gt mobile :(
