Lady Helena stepped forward and lowered her weapons and Tieger spoke to the Gnome. Carrylan followed suite and both appraised each other.
"Well sword brother, nowI see you in the light I recognise one of my own brethren. Friends," she looked over her shoulder, "Put away your weapons and join me in a feast with these strangers.
Food is brought out and wearily both groups join together in the room and share food. The Ghouls are concecrated, the body they were feasting on was that of a small halfling. Nell sighed as she examined the body, "Farewell brother." she muttered as blessings were offered.
Stories where exchanged. Carrylan lead a group into the darkness just over a week earlier. He too wished to rid the area of necromantic evil. Lady Helena nodded as he and the others told their tale. In the end is seemed obvious, join together and search out missing comrades in arms and cleanse the place of evil.
With that in mind, an hour later you al rise and begin to head onwards. Carrylan and Nell explained quickly that much of this level of the caves had been cleared, they had lost their group down on what they assumed was the second level. Gilead nodded, and suggested they head that way ...
The journey took them out through a room wiht a table. Nell explained the cards on the table were trapped and not to be trusted. then through an open secret door and southalong a long corridor and then into a large cave. Turning west they followed the cave to a set of stairs, nearby the remains of several large rats littered the floors. Olomair grinned as he retold the tale of the battle and how they had been seperated on thestairs being caught in an ambush.
You head downstairs carefully coming out into a north / south running corridor. The stairwell is in the east wall. Your light shows a door slightly to the north on the west wall and a similar door to the south on the west wall. the air smells foul, and eight giant rat corpses lie strewn about, as though torn apart by some wild animal. Blood splatters cover the entire area...
