Roll20 doesnt have a concept of 'character sheets' as such. Given its nature its incredibly flexible, but often just 'lists' of stats and skills etc that you can use to fuel dice rolls.
As Sorontar mentioned, the upfront macros are challenging but the system supported things like Shadowruns only hit on 5/6's etc quite nicely. I personally think its more flexible than FG2 to support rule sets NOT covered in either the free community rules or the pay to play rules from FG2. BUT FG2 is a much more refined product (or at least was 12 - 18months ago when we last used it). There are things in Roll20 not offered unless you pay to play mind which added at the time a lot of dynamic lighting etc.
BTW we have / I have an unlimited mumble server now which we can happily provide access to Clan UK folks and friends if they need it. I believe it supports 9,999 connections
