I remember that game. Nice as hell, played it on our Amiga 500 while it still worked... or then it was pc, hell, I can't remember. Can't remember the name tho. :/ Say, has it become abandonware yet?

Was that the one where you played a wizard and had summoning spells like dragon etc. Bit like a fantasy laser squad?

And wasnt there several Laser squad expansions??

Yes and Yes, you summoned creatures to do your fighting for you, it was turn based, to get the creatures you had to run around picking up componants to create them in your cauldron it was made by the same bloke that made Lazer Squad.

And there was at least 1 expansion for Lazer Squad that i can remember.

Cant find a picture so try this one:

It was released on the Acorn and the BBC. If featured upto 4 players who had to descend 22+ levels to recover a chalice. It was a fantasy based game, possibly the first true multiplayer game.

the company who created it had the initialy BB.

You could be a warrior, and elf, a barbarian or a wizard. There were traps, and rebounders etc around each level.

ahhh Eye of the Beholder 1 and 2 ... marvellous games on the Amiga

And thats one of the reasons I got a PC in the end Mark, cause the ****s only released EOB III on the PC :(
