Taken Lee and Warne apart tbh. I can't remember a more brutal session in terms of smacking the ball around. Maybe Headingley 81 with Beefy at the crease.
EDIT: And then the muppet is out straight after tea
If there something I learn from never ever watching cricket it's they need to bowl for early wickets, don't let the Aussies first pair get any momentum, attack the wicket if it it means giving away more runs, try and get 2 out before they reach 50. Then settle back to a more defensive bowling style and try to fustrate them into taking chances. Step up again when you get down to the tail end and try to get rid of them as quick as possible. - I predict the Aussies will reach about 370-390. Unless it's rained off
Current weather in Birmingham is cloudy but no rain is forecast.
Gilchrist to score 100, Langer to score 100 and Martyn to get 100.
That pitch is so flat we only have 3 bowlers that can exploit it IMO. Australia have the worlds fasted bowler and he went for over a 100 in 17 overs. 500+. I hope I'm wrong and you're right.
