Shadowbane USA or UK

With just about every mmorpg out there i'd say get the usa version and play on us servers,always out first plenty of players none speaking french etc etc.In fact taking all the pro's and con's in consideration think most of you would agree get it first and play on us on any mmorpg.But since shadowbane seems to rely on clans so much isnt the uk one a better idea for clanUK.I think it would give us a bigger online presance i'e no huge clans taking over our lands wile were off line and more clans online to fight etc.

Loads of reasons for or against us palying on a euro(poss Uk) server,and you can agure em here.But given the special nature of this game and this game only vote on uk or usa

P.S btw im thinking long term here a lot of people will hold out for swg anyway,so disregard the any possible time dif in release dates.And cos of swg might take a wile for a lot of clanUkers to get this game

Is it definitely split into different country versions? As in to play on US servers you have to buy the US edition / Uk server - UK edition or is there just one version and you can choose to play on any server whichever country it is in - a la Everquest/SWG?

i remeber reading somewere (and iam NOT 100%) of this. that the server you could play on was depended on what country your CC was bill to.
so even if your bought the USA ver, if you had a euro CC you could only play on the euro server.

As far as I know, if you live in the UK, you'll be playing on Euro servers. They won't be accepting customers from outside their own territories.

The good thing is though that the euro publishers, Swing, seem to have it together. A lot of people have said that the euro beta has been better run and maintained than the US one.

Not for the foreseeable future. By contract with Wolfpack Studios, residents of European countries will be prevented from playing in regions outside of Europe if they purchased SWING! Entertainment�s version of Shadowbane. Likewise, residents of North America/Canada and Asia will be prevented from playing Shadowbane on SWING! Entertainment�s European servers


So as i read it you could buy the usa version and play in usa,but there will prob never be a transfer system to take a usa char onto uk server.Hehe if we do decide on uk server be a bit different for numaria etc asking us to get them copys

couldent find the same thing on usa site except for comment about beta saying much the same thing.So looks like we wont be playing with our american chums anyway
