Tried it for the first time last night.

Was getting random slow downs even after turning the graphics down. Seems like I was stuck in the scenery at one point.

Seems to be nice and laggy too as I was emptying half a belt from an M60 into someone at close range and failing to hit them despite them being in the middle of my crosshairs.

I was on a couple of > 24 servers last night and had no lag troubles , the 32 server i tried however was bad.

Aggys trouble will be Dts as a reaction to all that viagra over the weekend .

Hmm, must've just been on a really good 32 player server then, it was fine

Some maps are known to be laggier than others, the Hues being the main culprits.

Seems like enough of us have this to make a night of it, teamspeak tonight around 8?

Cheers for the games lads, was muchos fun.

Highlights include having a clan APC zoom from spawn point to spawn point to the tune of Wild Thing, another was controlling a CUK filled huey to airlift a tank and then drop it off along with the infinitly more dangerous infantry cargo at the oppositions chopper base - all to the tune of "War".

Think we all died shortly after, but it was a good effort none the less

TS doesn't seem to want to work on my new PC . I got on , but can't hear anything or use my mic . Also managed to mute myself and can't turn it back on .
I'll bung a soundcard back in and see if that works .

Fun game , US forces need some sort of AA weapon though . Choppers are far too hard to destroy .

You need Merly in the team. He likes to blow big choppers.

He's also fond of the odd "Fire in the hole!" and comes in handy for flushing out suspicious tunnels.

Thing is, if he's on your infantry team, the last thing you want is him to come up behind you, covering your rear.

I heard a nasty rumour that Merly was wandering through the jungle last night looking for some action and came across Charlie.

Poor bloke is a gibbering wreck but Merly seems quite pleased with himself.

Apparently last week he got his weapon out and started playing with it in front of all the troops. Unfortunately he got distracted by looking at the commanding officers arse and it went off.

Merly was mightily relieved to hear the mention of full metal jackets.

He assumed it was a protective cover to keep his favourite mid-patrol snack safe from being squashed during a fire fight.

I heard that the last time they were out doing training exercises using foxholes, Merly got stuck and they had to call in the Helicopters to airlift him out.

Not the first time Merly's been lured out of a hole with a prospect of a ride on a big chopper, i'll wager.

I believe Merly got moved from the airborne division earlier this year. Everytime he got his chopper up in the air, he kept ending up sticking it in military holes.

I heard he joined the Air Cavalry because he was interested to learn how they managed to fit all the horses into a couple of helicopters.
