Something to get my teeth into

Im after a new reading book. Something to make my hairs stand on end.
Im after a book thats quite graphic, like the early Robin Cook ones. Ones that make your imagination run riot with body bits etc. A Silent Witness type thing.

Anyone know of any decent authors out there that can cater to my lust for dead bodies??

Read George RR Martin or any Bernard Cornwell? Both pretty graphic with a " life in the raw" attitude. Fantasy though.

Kathy Reich is one of my favorites. Hmm Bernard Cornwell...any relation to Patricia?

Dont think so, he writes Sharp for the telly, but dont be put off by that - his Winterking Trilogy about Arthur in the 6th century is very raw and gritty stuff.
