Hi Everyone,
I've recently been trying to get a TV and sound system sorted out, but I'm having major problems with lip sync.
I've bought an LG 47LN578V LED TV, and a Yamaha RX V375 amplifier. It's all set up, and looks very nice ( ), but the audio and video are always out.
I've tried to use an ARC by connecting it to the ARC enabled HDMI port in the TV and to the HDMI output in the amp. I have also set the TV to use external speakers, and enabled ARC support on the amp. Unfortunately, it just doesn't seem to work, so I am now using an optical cable instead.
The optical cable does output sound via the speakers which is great, but as noted above, the sound is out of sync. Unfortunately, I really notice the difference, and I've spent hours using the lip sync adjust functionality on the TV, and the sound delay functionality on the amp to try to correct it. Neither seems to do anything, and I haven't made any progress fixing the problem.
If anyone has any advice, that would be great. I can possibly return the amp, but not the TV.
Thanks,
Chris
