Starting up a Rune Shop!

Hi guys!

I have long pondered on what kind of bussines i want to run, and finally settled on something i really enjoy doing... runes and runebooks.

I am currently building my rune library ( tons of work ), and plan to make it as complete as i possibly can. The hardest part will be to mark the points of interest in the lower parts of the dungeons, but in time i hope i will get those as well.

So the plan is to open a Rune Shop, yet to be named ( sugestions are welcome ). The actual building is in place, and ready, just need to get a decent library to start with.

So here is where i ask for your help. If you know any good hunt location, a good shop that is well stocked or any ohter location you think should be in a well stocked rune library, please mark a rune, add a good description and pass it along to either of my characters ( Main and Alt's at the bottom ). You can also drop by my shop, and drop the rune in the contributions container in the front of the shop.

I will of course pay for any contributions if desired. After all, it saves me time :)

I will add my shop location to the guild buildings runebook, in the guild house next time Anubis is online.

- Zarek Keeneye ( Main / Treassure Hunter )
- Wynona Belsh ( Mage/Scribe/Fisher )
- Carp Tinkerman ( Carpenter/Tinkerer/Blacksmith/Tailor )
- Vongahr ( Tamer )
- Jerrick Belsh ( Warrior )

Thanks for reading this, and thank's in advance for any contributions you may want to share. Now, i am off to mark every concievable location i can find, lots lots lots of work to do.

well I am more than happy to trawl round the lower parts of the old dungeons as it's been years Hyloth being one of my favourites along with the fire elem room and lich lords :)

Splendid. I am willing to pay for any contributions you can make. And if you want company by one of my chars, just shout.

When it comes to the dungeons, i want runes for every POI on every level. Wether it be chest spawns, certain rooms with certain bosses/monster, shrines and so on.

I tried to go down with my mage, but i usually become monster fodder very quickly when i venturing too deep.

I am not going alone so lets arrange some hunts to remenisce see if we can get others involved :) be more of a laugh clearing them out while we mark runes.

if ure guna go down make sure u have 50 busheedo and jst have lots of honor virtue .... honor ureself and nothing will attack you ;) but btw when u finish this liburary i might want a copy of all the books for my keep so i will pay nicely if u wana make money from this hehe :D

Yeah, i have seen them. Problem is, i still have to go down to mark a rune for each location, and that is suicide in many locations. So i'm gonna need a body guard for the deeper levels. But i do try to take shortcuts where i can, using existing libraries, including yours, as a base to start from.

Yes, the commercial part is what drivers me here. I will be happy to make you a complete copy of my library, and i will only charge you for the material cost, since you are a guild mate. Will be awhile though until i get the core of the library done. After that, it will probably continue to grow indefinitly.

absolutly tonnes of books at my rune library - all open to the public so feel free to copy them
(the haven ones may need updating i not had chance to do em all yet and the magincia one pretty defunked since the rubble explosion:( - lets hope they put something in there soon)

Also im in need o blood ele spots for the monster spawn book im compiling - i know one spot in ish (spirit) if u know of anymore could u tell me please?

Hey DragonHeart!

Just saw your library, and there are alot of goodies in there, so thanks for letting me use it :). I will keep you informed of any Blood Elemental spawns i may find, though i suspect there will be awhile until i get to the monster spawn books. But i am working hard, churning books like a maniac.

Now when I was a lad they didn't have runebooks and you had to keep all your runes in backpacks. Eeee them were t'days.

Except you kept them in the bank, coz being killed and losing all your runes would be teh sux.

Recall to Serps. Bank. Recall to wherever ftw.

If you don't have a rune to the Blood Elemental spawn in Shame (bottom level) give me a shout if we're on at the same time I'll gate you there.

Will do mate, will probably fire on for an hour around half 5 and head down then. Failing that I'll be on around half 9 tonight.
