Strange other player movement

Ever since the graphic improvement patch for Lich King both our computers have a weird problem with other players. Firstly i'm sure it's not lag, because everything based around our characters is working quickly with no delays on spells, looting, damage and the NPC's move normally no warping etc.
However some other players (a fair percentage) will sometimes speed up and slow down when moving around me - not the normal laggy jerking disapearing then reappearing that you sometimes see, this is all very smooth slowing down then suddenly speeding up. It's certainly not game breaking but it is quite annoying at times! I only bring this us now because I saw WOW running on other PC over the weekend and that also did it!

Nah its not that. When we are playing together we will sometimes see each other doing this odd moving.

I have seen some odd movement, but was more jerky-like, yet not lag related ... (not on my part anyway)

I was observed making soem erratic movement in Utgarde Keep on friday night. Maybe it's the same bug. I think it's related to waking up at lunchtime with a hangover and red gear.

Janie, i know nothing about Norfolk, so googled for jokes about it to get a reaction from you and ended up with nothing, lots about Norfolk and lots of jokes, but absolutely nothing interesting about Norfolk at all.

So now i'm just feeling rather sorry that you have to live there :(

(not seen this bug yet, just a rather nasty one where my characters keep dying)

I get an odd 'juddering' for a sec or 2 now and then in WoW, not sure why as I've only recently fired this up again and on a new pc that graphically copes fine with most other games especially MMO (except AoC).

I get this now :(

red hills

Set my video settings back to default, bar the resolution, will have to see if it was because I had settings at high. Seems odd though if this pc can't cope with high graphics settings....how old is WoW again? Surely the requirements haven't changed?

Started getting the stuttery movement the other night, i think it's something they've introduced to reduce client lag, basically with a lot of activity on screen i start seeing half the normal movement animations, so it looks like the player is jerking around.

Only happens for me in certain locations, ie Naxxramas (Heigan) and Dalaran so far

The stuttering is supposedly fixed in todays patch, I hope so it was getting really annoying - it definatly got worse after the last patch and killed my appetite for the game. Hopefully this will fix it and I can finally get a character to 80 :p

Actually if the shuttering is fixed or at least improved to the level it was before the last patch i'm rather tempted to restart on the new server that opened on Jan 30th. I love new fresh servers and restarting :p Maybe i'll finally give the horde side a proper try - of course this is only if I can him to restart with me yet again :)

Try it again tonight after downloading the patch, so far for me it's much better.

Onward to WoW
It has or seems to be sorted now,i was having the same thing and knew it could not be the graphics card because my movement was too smooth so did not worry too much, since the new patch everything is running as before :)
