I only made it into the last Beta so I'm not completely sold but Rift seems pretty decent.

�25 from Game isn't to be sniffed at either.

So.......

How many people are actually planning on playing?

Does anyone have any preference for Guardians or Defiant and does it actually matter?

Are we going to form a guild, have a huge handbag match and stop talking to each other for 5 years?

i will be playing
most likely as a guardian
most likely as a healer
most likely on a pve server but i will be rvring as much as possible

would say we find i nice friendly guild and join that, as i dont think we have a large enought group all playing at once to form a active guild

Would be nice to at least try to get on the same server.
Even if we are not in the same guild it would still be good to see
plenty of old faces about. :)

I am going to play guardian, on a pvp server and happy to join a CUK guild if we do that, but i can imagine most won't go pvp :) so it will be me travelling the lonely road and finding some other mugs to join up with!

but i shall most definitely be playing a bard fo sho..

I'm planning on going PVP Deviant, mostly likely an Eth rogue in some melee type soul combination. Planning on giving it many months though so 90% of our guys end up playing Guardians i'll just join in with you lot.

I will be playing Guardian on a PVE server. Been in a guild since beta 1 so plan on sticking with them as they have some nice plans for organised RVR as well as raiding etc.

will be some mixture of chloromancer/necromancer/warlock will more than likely start off on a pve server to see how the rvr stuff goes then probably pick a pvp char

yes it would be nice to all start on the same server. once the release server names are out we can post were we starting.
like cath i am in RK so will most likely stay with them for the start

LOL, "don't plan on inviting anyone else now unless they know someone in the guild or really stand out (love being a heal spec cleric for example)" is a quote by the leader so it depends if we admit to knowing you :p

RK is seems to be adopting it's fair share of CUK waifs and strays at the moment with Cath, 10p, Btone and me there so far that I can think of.

Guardian faction and PvE server for release although looking to be doing organised RvR killing teh the ebil Defiants as often as possible.

Applying saying you know Cath will get you in as open recruiting has stopped to let people get to know each other. Saying you know any of the rest of us will almost certainly be met with "ban" :D

Seriously though they seem a nice bunch of people from all across europe with a good mix of hardcore Raiders/PvPers and casuals like me who will have enough guildies around to be able to get a group most any time and will back fill the organised stuff from time to time.

fucking pve whores! as i expected 99.9% are going pve :) ah well if you do go pvp let me know I will happily join the otherside....

Tbh we are hoping for a more RVR type server. There has already been talk of a Darkness Falls type dungeon like DAoC so its looking promising :)

I know why do you think i am going pvp :) i want that along with open pvp like Mordred.
