Temporary admin fix

I havnt tried it yet dont know if it alows the pb commands, cause if it doesnt then its kinda pointless.
Though we would be able to kick and ban.

Temporary Fix for admin Control (6/5/2004).

Until the server software gets patched, we have found a way to let server owners get access to admin your server. In order for this to happen, we need you to follow this procedure: Write a support ticket in the GoAA admin system. Make sure it has exactly the following layout:.

SUBJECT: SERVER ADMIN CONTROL.

List your ingame playername. The one you use when login into game..

Do not write ANYTHING else in the ticket.

If the support ticket isn't opened by server owner, the admin controls will not function. Once we get the new patch, we will let you know, and everyone including server operators can use admin controls again. Just remember, this is outside our control, but we have found a way to make a temporary fix.

We have the admin kick command, no pb/md5 commands or scripts though.

will it work logged in as admin ie F12? or is it the actual command? and can we give power to members?

Admin functions Fixed! (6/8/2004).

The Admin and Punkbuster functions are working again. This required a fix to the game code, which was handled by [DEV]Kermit and [DEV]AceKilla. This patch has been deployed across the system and should now be on all leased servers.

The current issues that we are aware of that are not resolved with this patch are the command post (F12) not showing up for everyone, just some and pb_sv_task not performing as expected.

Please note that Admin speech should be in white now. Red lettering is reserved for members of the Army Dev team and the SCI group.

If you are still having issues with the admin functionality, other than the ones above, please either put in a support ticket through GOAA with the SPECIFICS of the command you tried to run and the IP Address of the server you tried to run it on.
