Saw it last week and loved it. Saw it in 2D so happily give it 10/10 ans its probably my favourite film now.

Perfect mix of Action, Comedy and Great character spots make me wonder how they will ever follow this up. Hulk with the Thor "sideswipe" and Loki "Puny God" moments both had my crying with laughter and I dont think thats ever happened to me in a cinema before. Plan on seeing it again this weekend and as soon as I got home last time I visited play.com to sign up for the notify me when its available to preorder.

Saw this today with my kids, was very impressed. Okay, I'm easily pleased by any Marvel film, but this really was a strong film.

Well paced, visually stunning, great balance of characters' screen time, fair plot, really cool look and feel to it all making it feel like a real superhero film.

Liked the humour being understated and part of the characters (Tony Stark and The Hulk were great with this) but there being a lot of it, made the film have more to it and also gave identity to the characters.

A big thumbs up!

Most excellent film and the only film in a long time I have not regretted forking out nearly 20 for tickets.

Loki calling Black Widow a "mewling quim" raised our eyebrows in a 12a but I don't think a lot of people would have picked up on it as it was in his rant.

Sideswipe of Thor and Puny God had me in tears :)

i thought that! i decided it maybe has a different meaning in america, though as far as i'm aware it doesnt. maybe they figured its an obscure enough word that the 12 year olds wouldnt know it.

Saw it on Monday, Thought it was ok but not as good as it might have been. Not a huge fan of Joss Whedon though and this film was full of his stuff.

Hellcarrier is stupid, I don't care if it's in the comics, it's still very stupid and can be shot down by a bow and arrow.

Nick Fury forgetting where his balls were was irritating. 'I'll pretend I have no clue what to do so that the Avengers will magically stop arguing and figure shit out by themselves' is super lazy writing and makes Fury look like an idiot.

The scenes between Loki and Stark were excellent however as was the main fight scene. Also Mark Ruffalo was the best Hulk yet in my opinion.
