Guy Ritchie directing, Henry "Superman" Cavill as Napoleon Solo, Armie " Lone Ranger" Hammer as Illya Kuryakin. Hugh Grant as Alexander Waverly. This has disaster written all over it. Why do they keep taking bits of my childhood and shitting all over them ? (There is a new CGI version of thunderbirds on the way too).
Aparently both George Cluny and Tom Cruise were hired as Solo but both walked away. Cluny would have been great as the character 25 years ago but way too old now. I liked the Lone ranger film more than I thought I would, but I have no hope for this.
