Today was fun.
Bored with teh current run of Cruisers and frigates, i figured it's worth a giggle (and 15 mil) to try a Artillery Destroyer. I present to you - The Good Ship Redstripe
Highs
7x 250mm Light Artillery II (Tremmor S (+100% range))
1x Rocket Launcher (defenders)
Mids
Afterburner II
2x Sensor Boosters
Lows
2x Gyroscope II
It will lock, and hit frigates in about 1 second at up to 60km out, and jsut make them explode. no tank what so ever, so you have to run with a friend who tanks, but hey, that's what cruisers are for isn't it ?
optimal kill-range = 15-40km. Lower than that you may as well go home, you can't hit. Above that, you are in x2 falloff and missing alot, but still hurting....
If you can - give it a blast. it's a fantastic wingman.
