Wife, kids and I saw it, really really enjoyed it!

The only downer was that Steven Moffat wrote it, meaning of course it was thoroughly excellent, but meaning he's not locked away writing episodes of Dr Who :(

Best film of the year. Old school spielberg - action, adventure and funny. And this is coming from someone who isn't a huge fan of 3d or animationed/motion capture (whatever it's called) at all.

Think it probably is the best film we've seen this year, yes. We watched Tin Tin is 2D, I also am not a big fan of this 3D nonsense and my 6 year old can't watch in 3D at all, so regular old fashioned silver screens it is!

Just seen this. Amazing Animation, old skool Spielberg and despite bombing in the US ( Tintin always has) its getting a sequel! The sequel will reverse the order of the first in thet Jackson will direct and Spielberg produce.

It takes several of the Books, filters the best out of them, changes a few things (that need changes to make it Cinematic) and squeezes out a fantastic Homage to Herg. (Thats him, by-the-way, the artist at the beginning. Did anyone notice that the Sheik Castafiore sings for is Spielberg? I bet there's loads of other famous names in there as cartoons too.) Tintin and Asterix were/are a big part of my childhood and I feel that Between Moffat, Spielberg and Jackson they have treated it well.
