Got this when it came out, was fun but no one to group with

I've started it up again, but only because I got Voiceattack and I can tell the PC to 'make it so', or 'beam me up'

Other than that, it seems much the same stuff.

BTW, Voiceattack is excellent, well recommended...

It's great, I got it for Skyrim initially after I saw the YouTube video where the guy has hooked up his Kinect to the PC. I'm not bothered about the motion sensing but he was using voice control as well.

I tried a few out but Voiceattack was by far the best, and only $8 to register too!

It has its limitations, anything you need available in a split second you need to keep on the keyboard but it's great for everything else. I could get dual heal, dual summon, heal/fire spell or any other combination programmed in and no need for any farting about with the keys.

And it's great for STo, the whole 'make it so', 'emergency shields' etc thing is brilliant

Downloaded last night to see what it's like while waiting for SWtOR to arrive. Will be on tonight if anyone fancies a game (though will be complete beginner).

I keep having to force restart my PC everytime I try to exit STO. Lowering the resolution seems to make no difference. (thought it might be a memory issue, so lower resolution = less strain on PC?)

Anyone have any ideas what might be the problem and how I can fix it please?

I assume your PC is freezing when you try to exit STO. Have you tried ALT-Tabbing out then using Task Manager to end task?

It may stop you having to reboot every time...
