Top four this term ?

The Russian pimps crooked oil money will return the title to the Chavs, but with nothing like the gap between them and the rest that there was last year. They were extremely lucky with (a lack of) any injuries to key players last term, plus Moureen does not have a wide range of styles of play he can get his players working with. He uses the same two setups he always did at Porto. Over the next two years this will get exploited more by Prem teams.

Key players : Terry, Lampard, Robben

I dont know much about whats going on with the Gooners at the moment, except that they have some ridiculously good youth players. One or two of their lads were homesick after looking like the buys of the seaon last term - will they settle more ?

Key players : Henry, Viera, ?

The Mancs seriously need to sign a replacement for Keane. Without Scholes and Keane last season they were incredibly ordinary. As soon as that pair got on the park they were transformed. If they bring in Essien or Ballack they will be up there challenging; if they dont they will be nowhere men yet again and I can see Taggart moving on next summer.

Key players : Keane, Scholes

At Liverpool Benitez is nothing short of the best manager in the world. If he can win the Champs league with the shower of sh** Foullier left behind, I am confident he will transform the team over thenext two years. Zenden will surprise folk - Boro's best player last year in on a free.

Key players : Alonso, Carragher

I'm going :

1. Chavs
2. Gooners
3. LFC
4. Mancs

Key players listed above are those that could seriously affect the clubs standing at end of the year.

Man Utd, Chelsea & Arsenal (in any order) then one of Liverpool or Tottenham for 4th.
Newcastle may be in with a shout for 4th, but they need to get a proper manager in.

I can see united slipping out of the Top 4 this year short of some good buys at the back

Eh? They've had one of the best defences in the league last season - their problem was not scoring enough goals due to horseface being injured and then out of form.

What, Ferdinand, Heinze, Silvestre, O'Shea? All in their mid 20's mate. Only "oldie" is Gary Neville at 30. United's oldies are in midfield. Giggs, Keane and Scholes are all 30 or older.

Could be any one of the top 3.

I think we will be better as we blooded some youngsters last season. If Reyes has gotten over his homesickness then he'll be like a new signing. This Hleb we have bought looks class and if we get "The Beast", and after watching some clips of him its a name well earned as he's a monster similar to Hasslebank in style, then he gives us an option up front we haven't had for quite a few years.

ManU look good going into the new season and they'll be tough to beat. Will be better than last season.

I don't think Chelsea will be as good as last year, but will obviously still be up there.

I really don't know about 'Pool. I think their squad is looking more suited to the CL and I think there will be to many games again next season that a few of their players won't fancy.

Thats still doesnt sound right, Wigan - Premiership side.

Mind you Spurs have carried that for years and seem to have got away with it.

Can't see the Spanish contingent fancying Wigan away :p

That's why they are signing the battling 'get stuck in' qualitys of Figo I guess :)

Figo goes down more often than a 5 dollar hooker on a Friday night.
