Turn 11 Into the darkness

[OOC the chicken... hahah!]

The kitchen is bare and empty. with only stairs leading into the cellar offering anything tempting. Heading downwards you follow Bamoin into the darkness below. Some seeing well in the low light other blind. Caligula quickly grabs a broken stool and casts a spell it. ?It flares into flame and casts a flickering glow about the place.

Obviously a storage and wine cellar. Racks are for the most part empty although a few dusty bottles remain here and there.

Your attention is drawn to the gaping hole in the west wall. Rocks have been strewn either side and the hole itself shows claw marks around the outside. Something or someone clawed there way into or out of what ever is beyond.

Shining a torch inside you can see a fairly uniform 5ft high passageway the continues straight for as far as the torchlight shows (40ft) here and there in the light claw marks are evident in the walls..

Actions?

(ooc: Can't we discern by the claw marks on our side of the wall if the creatures have c lawed their way out or in? Should be fairly obvious, by my reckoning, unless some have tried clawing their way in, and others out simuntaneously.)

Belwar sniffs around for any other kind of bottles, like, hmm, elven wine or other kind of draught, and takes whatever isn't too foul for his taste.

As quietly as possible Bamoin will ease himself through the opening and then head up the passage way ... watching for traps and Tracks as he goes.....

He will stand close to Siggi, close enough to react, but not so close as to get her axe in his chest should she explode into action, ready for anything.
