Round 2:
Bamoin, rappels down the rope fairly quickly then unhooks it from the stone above him. He quickly ties a lasso and begins to move towards the new arrival ... [All you can do]
Near knok a voice echos down the passage. The half elf smiles as he hears a fimiliar twang of a bone and horn bow and two arrows simultaneously fly towards the 2nd Umberhulk. both arrows thunk into their target causing the monster to rear backwards and roar in pain. [19 dam]
Knok begins the chant of magic and points to the furthest away beast. Two globes of energy unerringly strike the beast. [9 dam - magic missile. Daze doesnt work on monsters]
Arak steps sideways a little and also begins to chant magic. Pointing his hand forwards with spread fingers a burst of flame shoots outwards catching the creature. It fails to move out the way and takes the full effect of the blast. [11 Damage] It flops forwards, smoke puring from its burnt carapase [Burning hands]
Seeing its mate go down the umberhulk move forwards and suddenly its eyes seem to flash and swirl catching Siggni, Arak and Thak in its gaze. [Confusion 15ft radius] Siggni and Arak blink a couple of times then continue to press the attack, Thak however doesnt ..... [Failed Will save] Thak suddenly lowers his greatsword, points at the Umberhulk and babbles, babble like a baby...
Thak ... babbles more......
Siggni roars a cry to the IceMaidens of Stvorm and waving her Battleaxe rushes headlong into the mellee. [She has to move 10ft to close so cannot perform a full attack] Her axe bites deeply into the creatures body [13 Dam] It jerks backwards then begins to advance warily.
Caligula, his ever selfless self carefully looks over the edge of the pit. Seeing no easy way down his chuckles to himself then surveys the scene below him. Then calling upon his Deity he points and a warhammer appears next to the Umberhulk with a faint red glow. It strikes at the creature. Hitting it squarly in the head [9 damage - Spiritual Weapon. No one is in danger yet..]
Belwar, in his wolf form lands near the Umberhulk and swipes away with his claws. the claw hits and rakes across the creature [15 dam] His companion follows with its own claw. It too hits sinking a claw into the creatures rum [6 dam]
the umberhulk seems weakened and dazed by the groups onslaught suddenly drops wheezing for a moment before the breathing stops. [Death from massive trauma]
