Turn 19 - The moist hole ;-)

Cautiously Bamoin moves down into the damp smelling cavern. The walls rise some 10ft to the ceiling which looks slightly domed. Everywhere the walls are covered in mineral choked dampness. Water seeps down the walls and through the cracked floor.

The room seems to end some 50ft into the cave. Bamoin moves in as far as he needs to in order to see the end of the cave. Satisfied he turns to head back.

Suddenly something gelatinous drops onto the rogues head [Slam attack for: 11 Dam (inc 3 acid)] something begins to burn and then suffocate the rogue. He yells as something squeezes and constricts overhim bearing him to the floor. [8 dam inc 1 acid]

...

The rest of you, advancing slowly behind the rogue see nothing untoward until this yellow blob - probably 6ft in length drops from the ceiling and smothers Bamoin. The cry and stumble of the rogue alerts you to the problem.

As soon as it is safe to do so and the gelatinous object is suitably distracted, Caligula cautiously advances to help Bamoin.

Arak'll send some magic missles pelting into the jelly.

knok instantly,, well as fast as he can, casts mm on the over zelous jelly

 

[Zeus]

Jial assumes that his arrows would do more harm to Bamoin than to the jelly at this point, and looks around for any other creatures about to attack them, or any jellys not attached to people heads.

 

[Cullhaven]

Siggi hastily puts her shield above her head and advances cautiously forward scanning the ceiling and walls ahead.

"Thak! That look like Dragon Shnott to me!"

 

[Kegs]

"Dragon shnott!!!" Thak makes his way towards Bamoin as fast as he can all the while watching upward and around for more jelly creatures.

Once at Bamoin he will hack and chop the thing but being careful not to hit the rouge.

Belwar instinctively rushes in to bite, only to forget that he should have turned into his wolf form first... He shakes his head at himself, and wild shapes into a wolf.

Bamoin tries to scratch at the slime , all the while shouting instructions ..

"Are you sure? really? ok then" jial replies "Lads, he says to be put out of his misery i think!"

Siggi fixes Jial with a blistering scowl as she moves with Thak in to the danger area.

"er, sorry, thats lads AND ladies, of course..." jial replies
(is there anything else to shoot at? if not, i'll just go for a shot at the jelly on bamoin.)

(ooc: not sure how this char was played before, but under MY command he's going to be bit of a joker. hope noone feels it ruins the serious side of the game )
