Turn 40.1 [Area 14] Combat round 1

Round 1:

[Thak, Dee, Knok, Bamoin, Risach, Belwar, TROLL, Jial, Aceed, Caligula, Atak]

Thak flies into a rage, [Rage used] His first swing connects with a sickening crunch across the creatures mid riff. (27 Dam) The creature howls in pain.

Dee takes a quick look at the creature. It seems to him to resemble a troll. Moving forwards he readies his stunning fist and swings at the troll [SF used]. His fists land a blow. The troll staggers about looking somewhat stunned (1 Dam stunned)

Knok Backs off, readying his bow. Watching the beast and corridor for more trouble.

Taking advantage of the stunned troll Bamoin moves rapidly behind it to flank. Slashing out with his Rapier he finds a weak spot and stabs hard. (23 dam)

Risach steps forwards and calling upon his God swings his greatsword in a huge arc, as he does so it glows with an unearthly blue. The blow connects severing the trolls head which lops onto the floor in front of Kegs. (31 Damage)

Actions? You can head down the stairway or continue south down the passage.

NB no battle map needed due to the fast completion of the battle.

aceed kicks the head down the hole (regen that baby !!!)

then appraises the area for anything interesting and procedes ahead of the party in whatever direction they are goind.

(ooc: have we explored are 13? i didnt think we had, but the map looks like we have)

Jial votes for going down the stairs. (have i misunderstood the map, or will that pobably bring us out on the corridor heading south from Area 3?)

no, area 13 is unexplored. It is protected by a door similar in nature to the one in the warding generator room. Metal with blue shimmering runes and tracery on it.

The stairs could well join with the southern corridor from 3

Choices:

1) go down the stairs and see how deep the rabit hole goes.

2) we go back to room 13 door and I try the ring on we found there (as I'm neutral and no one is evil I may be the best person to put an evil ring on...

3) backtrack somewhere else.

I'm for 1.
