Didn't get opportunity to head to Cloister of Tremors and slap the fat git in a thong but...
Scudley, Vigilia, Sinoc, Dafydd, Chille and I headed to Temple of Ugg via Norg to take on the water worm. While checking for coffers Sinoc had to leave.
Then there were Five.
As no coffers were available/popping, and Vigilia was short on time before work started (boo), we decided to head for the Cloister of Tides. Now this must be the arseiest (a real word?) Cloister to get to, we managed well 'til the drop point when Chille's sneak wore off and got aggro. Scudley and Vigilia made short work of the aggro while Dafydd raised the fallen Chille. After re-invising and -sneaking we dropped down and headed east to the Cloister. But alas! Chille took a wrong turn and died again! As we'd dropped to the next level we were unable to raise him and we sadly had to leave his corpse behind and face the Leviathan as we were.
Then there were Four.
Well, at the protocrystal we rested to full/ The plan was Scudley and Vigilia would Fragmentation the Leviathan as their TP allowed (Scudley has THF sub, Dafydd had NIN, Vig was BLM and I was WHM so no vokes at all) and once the Leviathan had done his 2-hr I would Miekyo Shusui and double Fragmentation him (if I surviived his 2-hr). So buffed up we went in. Barwatera on, engaged . . . . and Vigilia realised it was WATERSDAY! z0mg! He's gonna kick our a$$! We proceeded with the plan and his 2hr kicked off at 50%. Vig, Scud and Bea escaped with minor scratches, but poor Dafydd took it in the face and dropped like a sack of treant bulbs.
Then there were Three.
At this point I let go with my 2hr, first Fragmentation hit np, started second and tachi: koki missed (wtf?), so all very pretty but no prize. Vigilia and Scudley trooped the colours and whacked him with a couple more Fragmentations. The Leviathan sneered at us and healed itself, but to no avail. He recieved some harsh blows (and sneers of our own) and dropped.
With only 4 party members, loosing a member to death leaving only 3, it was Watersday and Leviathan healing itself ~ we managed to defeat him!
Big thank you to everyone who came along (especially Vigilia who sat around for over half an hour in Kazham to lead us by the hand to the Temple and consequently ended up being late for work). Regardless of the no coffer pop and Titan no-show, we had a damn good fight and defeated the Leviathan on a day you're not supposed to fight him (him being uber on Watersday) and with half a party!
