Which trade skill to make some cash ?

My supply of cash from the past is running out. Need some advice on which are profitable trade skills. I'm doing Fishing and Cooking, which still looks to still have some profit in them, hopefully more if SE carry on their campaign against RMT.

Was also looking at Woodworking and Alchemy, for Ninjitsu tools and Ranger consumables (partly using fished items). I don't mind spending a lot of time sourcing materials; going on from that I'd sooner sell a small number of expensive items than lot of resources. This, to an extent, counters the fact that you can almost buy the made prudcts for aboutn the same price as the raw materials.

So, apart from Cooking and Fishing, is there any money to be made from any of the other trade skills any more ?

Tbh, i think i can say without fear of much ridicule, that near enuff all trade skills have bombed out now for the moment. They r useful for personal use, making tools, bolts, oils etc, but prices have crashed out SO much now due to the RMT crews bein banned that everyone is undercutting everyone else in a bid to try and make money and get their stuff sold first.

Profits area decidedly minimal at the moment where trade skills are concerned, a LOT of ppl made mules when there was an abundance of money and power lvld various skills on them to 100.

I think the best bet is choose a trade skill that would be most beneficial to you and the jobs you level and go from there. :)

What Sorran said, pick crafts that benefit the job(s) you like to play and go from there. In the long run it will save yourself money and you will be able to make money on the side.
There is still profit in any crafting if you're willing to do it slowly (but yeah, curse the *&$@ing undercutters!!!!). Spamming AH steadily with consumables like the ones you mentioned (food, arrows, ninja tools, bullets, Gobbiebag quest items...) that people need to buy all the time adds up over time. There is no big fast way to profit in anything anymore, but slow and steady pays off. :)
High level in any craft works well to make money but your income will depend almost entirely on consistent HQ rate. Which, if you're grinding middle-level recipes like most common consumables are, shouldn't be too bad.
