I liked all of the games, including interceptor and enforcer, but the original is by far the best.

Apocalypse was good, but I didn't like the reduced scale of it. also they removed night and day cycles which kinda removed a lot of the atmosphere. Nothing like taking a bunch of raw recruits to a terror site in the pitch of night

i love the X-com games.... Why did they shelve alliance? that was looking to be really good last time i saw it..... enforcer looks crap from what i've seen, but then the other x-coms dont look too good, its the gameplay that matters.
Interceptors ok. The newscasts are quite funny, and the ending is nice.

Can anyone remember the original original game "Rebelstar Raiders" on the speccy? Then there was a jazzed up version called Just "Rebelstar" where you could attack people with a lawn mower

it worked fine for me... well, i say fine - it occasionally chucked me out for no reason. Maybe the version you have is corrupted? If you want, i'll send you my copy. Its not exactly big.

Nah m8 my copy is fine but it won't work under windows 2000, I can't install a different OS without trashing my bootblock and I can't boot from a DOS boot disk because my HD uses NTFS and dos can't see it.

If the version you've got is the collectors edition/collection version it may be having probs running with nvidia graphics cards. Theres a way to get it to work which has sliped my mind, but it's prolly easier to get the original version, the CE version had the last patch on it, which ruins the sounds
