360 - Left 4 Dead - Sunday

Totally addicted to the VS mode now. I like the way the game has evolved since it release, at the beginning any half decent Survivors group would escape (barring a tank disaster). Now people are getting much better at playing and understanding the zombies it's turned into a proper tachical game.

Are u lot still playing this or is it old hat now?

Asking as I've been given a voucher for game to use and I'm deciding what to get.

It's still sat on my desk waiting to be put in the 360, as it's really a co-op game I'm loath to do anything with it until either we can organise something or other friends I know get it.

I'd say it's definately worth having ago offline before you go online, just to get used to the maps/weapons and general feel of the game. The AI bots are rather good on the midrange skill settings and you can easily complete the 4 campaigns with bots on everything but the hardest setting, and it's still a very fun game even playing like that. Once you've got the basics try it online, there is absolutely no problem finding games online at all - the matchmaking works quickly.

Practise is for people that want to do well

That's not to say I don't want to complete it when I do play it through but I'd like it to be a totally fresh experience, as for the matchmaking with my limited time to play when I do play I'd rather play with friends who know about my vision problem, specially with an FPS, I've never found x-box live a friendly place when you're slowing a team down or not keeping up with the people that know stuff inside out.

That and I'm old and grumpy

The director keeps the challenge fresh, while the maps always remain the same the points you'll be ambushed, encounter the special infected and the pickups points will always be in different locations.

Ahhh didn't realise that, I though it was only the zombie locations that differed

According to XFire iv played for 7 hours this week

And im going to go play it now, normally have to play with random people But you do find a few good ones

Only wanting to play with peeps I know rather than randoms so not been playing too much.

Really good fun when I do though, really need voice comms set to voice activated for the full experience though
