Not sure anything will re capture that EQ1 feeling - it was the first real 3d mmorpg and none of us knew what to expect. I think we've all got a lot more picky now and won't put up with stuff we accepted in those days.
Still, if it tells a good story, lets me explore, have fun with friends and keeps me occupied for a few months it'll be worth it...
