Actually I don't but I just check the web and the spelling is correct, so I can assume you don't think there inclusion is right? The perfect (yes perfect!) 10's they scored to win olympic gold doesn't impress you?

In a word? No. Ice Skating is the wankiest sport ever with the exception of Dressage in Equestrian.

They certainly aren't fit to polish even the shoes of most of the rest of the list.

I was expressing my opinion on the sport but thats not my reason. Even though I don't like the "sport" (he said in a sarcastic tone), I still don't think you can really stick them up there with the others. They're not in the same league at all. Jack Nicklaus won EIGHTEEN majors. I forget how many gold medals Carl Lewis won (in 4 different events). Pele was a genius, as was Bradman. Redgrave won in FIVE Olympics. Etc. If I'm being brutally honest, only a female would have included them in a poll (and I'm not being sexist, its just a fact)

Also , without DT we would never have had the leet Daley Thompsons Decathlon on the speccy, i firmly believe that the pummeling the keyboard for hours on end has given me the cast iron, rsi proof wrists that i have now that allow hours of non stop gaming... amongst other things.

Torville and Dean scored perfect 6's at the olympics. Stakers recieving 6 was unheard of before T & D. They were amoung the last to skate and there preformance so much better than any other couple or anything else seen before the judges had to give them the top marks, because they had blow the scoring system completely. So they moved the sport on completely to another level which is the hallmark of a great sports person.

Sky One has been doing this program (Greatest Sporting Legend) and Torville and Dean didn't even make it into the 12 Olympic Legends and I think its quite well researched but you know bestest of course.

The fact you know who they are probably means they are something special - it's not a sport that gets alot of coverage but what they did moved them into the legend/genius catagory and everyone knows who they are.

I know who they are because I'm British and us winning a gold medal is rarer than rocking horse shit especially at something that is in the WINTER Olympics. Worldwide they're relatively unknown.

LOL, their preformance brought ice skating to the masses and not the Britain.
I bet there more well known than Steve Redgrave outside the UK. The performance captivated the world. But keep posting the dumb comments it's entertaining \o/.
