Not grumpy
Sadly id have a better chance of following an US 1920's campaign but happy to do either. Modern settings are just bleah for cthulhu IMHO. Weapons arnt usually an issue as prior experience has shown:
1, Even both barrels of the shotgun wont help for 99% of what you need to kill
2, If you do need a shotgun, youve messed up very very badly already
3, The shotgun always, and i mean ALWAYS ends up in the hands of the person with the lowest SAN.
4, If you find yourself in the postion of needing a gun, a small .38 revolver is much easier to conceal and ive yet to be asked to roll to hit when trying to blow my own brains out, plus allows for much easier identification when your relatives come to identify the body/continue the adventure
Id like to play a French Academic, Jacques Lecat, Lecturer of ancient history and languages (hoping for tenure soon). Not your typical academic, Early thirties, definitely not yout standard stuffy old codger. If you want me to send you a tell of what i have in mind say, otherwise ill post a more complete description later
