People have been complaining that it is hard on some podcasts I listened to, I thought it was easy to be honest.Here is a graphical comparison for your viewing pleasure 
. You can pick up the first one with all the add ons on the xbox 360 for �17.85 from the hut at the moment.I think they have tried to grab on to some of the Mass effect 2 market with this, because the combat is more free flowing and not as pause happy as the first one.

Podcasters as a rule, need to HTFU! I wonder if those complaining it's too hard think that circle-straffing and bunny-hopping is the ultimate in l33t gamez skillz ? Oh no you made bad choices start again
I look forward to someone posting me a dvd of it though. i really liked DA1 a lot but some sections, like the mines, just became a horrible grinding zergrush with the odd insta-kill... so gave up there twice.
Must re-install it at some point, but i'm playing Homeworld2 right now. Hmm, i wonder if any podcasters complained that is too hard.

I walked through the demo with no deaths whatsoever. I thought it was easy compared to the first one
I did that too and I didn't really know what I was doing! haha.. (trying to get the controls for camera panning etc after playing WoW didn't help) Yeah i played the first one and I remember that being harder

Yeah that's the expansion pack I was referring to.
Doesn't matter that it was a pre-order expansion extra or not, the publishers are still IMHO ripping off players with these micro-transactions.
The games should ship complete.
What I do is just wait for the editions that include the expansion packs and which are almost always tons cheaper too or buy second hand copies and then they get none of my hard earned cash. Plenty of other games to play in the meantime while I wait

and if they did it for free, the people that preordered would whine that they got their preorder bonus taken away.
and if they didnt release the things at all then people would whine that they're at a disadvantage.
and if they didnt do preorder bonuses people would whine that the company does nothing to encourage its loyal followers.
given that the publishers cant win whichever option they take, they might as well err on the side of extra money
