yeah i got it.
was a bit concerned as theres reports out of it being really buggy, cant play for more than 10 mins without fatal errors, that sort of thing.

but i played for 6-7 hours last night, and the worst 2 bugs i saw were:
-the floor in one building lost its texture. annoying, but only lasted about a minute.
-keep losing karma for stealing things. so i walk into a slaver encampment, kill everyone i can find (which is fine), and then lose a bunch of karma for nicking their stuff. that doesnt seem right to me!
...and thats it.

music gets a bit repetitive, but then so does anything heard for 6 hours i guess :p

edit - apparently there was a big patch on about thursday night that fixed nearly 200 bugs :p so guess thats why mine seems a lot more stable than the reports i'd heard...

've got it! loving it :) heard alot of iffy things along the lines of its just fallout 3, but i loved that game!! so far the intro of fallout 3 is better but their is over 80 hhours of game play in this one.

the patch for the xbox and ps3 is coming soon, Xbox has some exclusive DLC coming out soon as well.

Do you need to have played Fallout 3 to play this? Or doesn't it matter, I'm just installing it now

I like the sound of hardcore mode

Some of the bugs should have been sorted on PC as the games already been patched via Steam. That was on Thursdays, 2 days after it was released in the US.

completely unrelated to fallout 3 - its accross the other side of the country, and has no links whatsoever.

picked this up on the Xbox yesterday. So far (and im barely into it) the game feels better than Fallout 3.

Having fun in this so far, ran into some weird faction stuff though. Powder Gangers treat me as neutral so I can talk to them etc even though I am supposed to be hated by them for doing that quest at the start. :wtf:

Had to install a carry more shiz mod as it was getting really annoying having to sort through my inventory for something to dump everytime I looted a corpse.

Really wish they would add a customizable radio station, I want to hear what Mr New Vegas has to say about my recent exploits, but I don't want to listen to those 3-4 songs repeated over and over again. Let me play my own music on the radio :(

If you wear faction armour, they treat you as friendly or neutral. But dogs can sniff you out still.

Anyone played this on Hardcore?

a few of my freinds are, but i decided i couldnt be bothered with it.
just seemed like it wouldnt make it harder particularly, just more irritating.

Well I guess mine is patched because it's on steam but I keep crashing every 5 minutes now. Bumclouds.
