I really like Bron as a character, both in the books and on screen. Then I saw the same actor in Ripper Street and I really enjoyed that too. Then I realised it was Jerome Flynn from Robson and Jerome, which surprised me. He's gotten rather good.

Bloody hell I had no idea that's who he was!

I really didnt like him, realised who he was straight away - but must admit he has surprised me as well in both parts.

Your opinion is worthless....
Only recently got into this, watched the first season, then decided to buy the books, managed to get through book 1 & 2 very quickly onto book 3, watched the first 2 episodes of season 2, they don't half cram a ton in and miss a shite load out! all in all it's good, but I do think it's best if you read the books first, as they miss out when characters are talking to themselves and other bits that I find really make the books amazing, the series just good/great.

The thing that puts me off the books is that alot of people who have read them all say that after book 3 the next 2 (or is it 3?) are massive letdowns. I'm not sure I can be bothered to read so much if it all goes downhill, or the author simply doesn't finish it!

we shall see, book 3 seems pretty interesting at the moment, more so than book 2, lets be honest nothing can be as painful as the wheel of time, for dragging shit out for no possible reason! I think i got to book 9 or 10 and stopped, just because nothing was happening..

what I would love to see is some of the David Gemmell put onto screen, he truly was amazing.
