It doesn't have an Auction House or any class trainers so you have to keep hoping back to the original cities alot. Was playing about in the Outlands over Christmas for the first time, annoying the CPU requirements seem to have been upped since the original game, and playing the outlands on our old computer felt slightly sluggish so we had to lower some of the video options to get it to run smoothly :( Other then that it's pretty good, lots and lots of quests and new area's to explore!

i'd definitely say that your best bet is to get a portal to shattrath and make it your hearthstone-home asap. for one thing, there's very few gold spammers there. but its also just a lovely city, thats got free portal links to all the other cities, which is nice :p
i'd recomend making your home in the scryer inn (don't worry, it'll make sense when you get there), since that way you can jump off the top of the lift without dying, whilst the aldor one is slightly higher so the jump kills you.

Both mine and Talili's chars are level 23 at the mo, it doesn't take much of a jump to kill us, I think we'll stay in the safe old lands for the moment, also means first time we see the place it'll be done the old fashioned way walking around some corner and going "ohhhhhhhh", that said I think Talili may have run there already to get a recipe for alchemy or something.

Now I know about the right click though thing it'll be much easier :)

Ha! Are you feeling jealous that despict the fact you picked the shapeshifting class it's Talili who gets the movement speed increase form 10 levels before you :p (that always seemed unfair!). At least the druid forms get a dance now :)

Not really as I spent the talent point to have my car form run faster, still not as fast as Talili mind you but it's close enough for me, and mine is instant cast, and I stay in form inside :) She also has to battle with about 10 I think totems so far, though hopefully gonna make that easier with a totem addon I got.

useful to know about the % thing though

I think you'll find that you can't get into the Scryer one until you do the picking sides quest which you can't do until lvl 60+ so effectivly the Scryers are classed as Horde & will be hostile e.g. red text so can't click on them. Also Gotta are you sure you are staying in travel form inside & not just lagging out as I get swapped out of travel/flight form upon entering a building the same as my Shammie but I must admit the instant cast does save time :)

<level 30 Druid travel form, e.g. Cat Form, if you have the talent Feral Swiftness, not the true Travel form which I know does drop when you go inside, and at that point I'd switch back to speedy cat :)

cat form keeps the speed increase inside, I overtake people inside in cat form at the same rate I do outside (talking cat form at level 20 with the talent points, not the travel form)

my druid had them as a home for ages pre 60 i thought... i'll check on me shammy.

Just got my lvl34 Shammie ported to Shat & can't even talk to the Scryers so had to set my HS to the Aldours same as all my other low lvl alts that live there :)

yep, you are right. i'm wondering though, and i've a feeling thats because its a draenei, rather than because its alliance.

Nope neither my Dwarf hunter or Human pally can either - not sure if that changed in one of the patches when Blizzard found that people where bypassing the portal to set the alts HS there :)

Just as a heads up incase people are confused, I'm getting too lazy to run Shintau to the guild bank so using Siixie to put stuff in and take stuff out

Having a real blast playing again, only bad thing is I keep finding myself tidying the guild bank cos it looks so messy, I'll try and stop myself though :)

P.S The low level stuff I've been putting in the bank on page 2 is either to use or for a guild enchanter to blow up, don't mind which. Fish should be arriving shortly now I got the looting sorted out, help people work on there cooking skills
